Reception venues
Book 12 months or more ahead for popular Saturdays. Check the venue holds your guest numbers, what's included (furniture, staff, finishing time) and whether you must use its caterer.
It's one of the most important days you'll ever plan, and it means just as much to your families and friends. Big or small, every wedding takes organising. Do it yourself, hand it over, or a bit of both: Concierge Events will guide you, or arrange everything with trusted local professionals. You choose what to organise and what to delegate.

Church, garden, beach or historic building. Ask about permits for public spaces, a wet-weather backup, and the travel time to your reception.
Plated, buffet, shared banquet or cocktail style. Book a tasting, collect guests' dietary needs with your RSVPs, and compare drinks packages with a bar tab.
Order 3 to 6 months ahead and book a tasting. Tiered, naked, a cupcake tower or a dessert table; ask about delivery and set-up at the venue.
Ask to see full galleries from weddings like yours, not just highlights. Confirm the hours of coverage, how many edited photos you'll receive and when.
A highlights film, the full ceremony or the whole day. Ask about sound quality for your vows and speeches, and how long editing takes.
Band, DJ or both, plus music for the ceremony. Check what's included (sound system, MC, breaks) and any noise limits at your venue.
Book 9 to 12 months ahead. Your Notice of Intended Marriage must be lodged with your celebrant at least one month (and up to 18 months) before the wedding.
Bouquets, buttonholes, ceremony arrangements and centrepieces. Seasonal flowers stretch the budget, and ceremony flowers can often move to the reception.
Furniture, lighting, arbours and table styling. Confirm delivery, set-up and pack-down times with your venue.
Send save-the-dates 6 to 8 months ahead and invitations 8 to 10 weeks before. Allow time for proofs, printing and postage.
Favours for your guests and thank-you gifts for your bridal party and families. Small, personal or edible gifts are always appreciated.
Start 9 to 12 months ahead: made-to-measure gowns take months, plus time for alterations. Don't forget suits, the bridal party and accessories.
Book a trial 2 to 3 months before. Confirm how many people they'll style on the day and what time they'll arrive.

Allow 6 to 8 weeks for sizing, engraving or custom designs, and add your rings to your home and contents insurance.
Classic, modern luxury or stretch limousine. Check how many passengers fit and the hours included, and plan the route and timing.
Ask hotels near the venue about a group rate for your guests, and share the details with your invitations.
Check your passports (many countries require 6 months' validity) and that ticket names match your passports.
Full planning, partial planning or on-the-day coordination. A coordinator manages suppliers and timings so you and your families can enjoy the day.
Prefer to hand it all over? We can arrange as much or as little as you like, working with trusted local professionals so your day runs smoothly.
